Printing Methods

Are the inks eco and wear friendly?

Yes, we use water based certified inks from Brother.

How do I look after my printed  apparel?

To get the best, we recommend you follow our 'Washing and Care Information' guide.

Cold Water, Light Cycle, Non Amonnia Based Liquid Detergents, No Fabric Softner, No Bleach, Then Hang Dry (in the shade if possible  - on a coat hanger) No Dry Cleaning, No Tumble Drying.

Should I select embroidery?

Embroidery is great for smaller designs like logos, caps and especially polos. Qty's from 20 to 1000. If the qty;s are lower than 20, the costs become much higher and possibly not affordable. When that happens, we look at other options, and DTF style of printing is much better.

Can we do screenprinting?

Screen printing is great for specialised merchandise with one or two colours where the inks use a stencil mesh system for pressing the ink into the fabric and then tunnel drying them.

Is DTF a good printing method?

DTF is a system where we use the same machines and same inks, but instead of injecting the inks into the fabric, we inject them into a specialised film and them press them into the fabric. This allows for intense and multi-layered designs with hundreds of colours in the design. Its amazing!

Can we upload or email you photos or designs to print?

Yes, feel free to use our online designer tool (DESIGN YOUR OWN T-SHIRT) or just email us your ideas, photos and what you would like to create. We will have a look and then contact you. Have your wish list ready! 

What happens to my artwork after you finish printing?

We keep your design on file so when you want to print another batch, we are all ready to go.

How does print size work?

We can go up to 350mm (14 Inches wide) and usually about 440mm (17.3 inches high) but remember, big is not always best - which is why we scale the design to fit correctly, unless its merchandise, which we have a great big discussion with you on sizing and placement.

Can you print over seams and zips?

Printing over seams, zips and pocket seams is a dangerous affair. We have tried, and it never turns out well, so our advice is this - try and design your apparel so that you do not have to deal with mixed, failed and aweful results. We would never want you to lose hope, money or a good piece of apparel.

Product Styles

What brands do you print on??

We print on AS Colour, JB's Wear and Fashion Biz. If we do not have it in stock for you, we always source our suppliers and get the style in. We do not carry live qty's, so if we are out, we will notify you, and the product will be in stock within 1 to 2 days.

Can you print on other apparel that is not a shirt?

Yes we can. The majority of printing ranges from shirts to hoodies to polos to tote bags, caps and workwear. BUt feel free to ask us about other needs and we will let you know. Send us any questions you have (CONTACT US)

What about sizing, how do I work that out?

Every product we carry will have a sizing chart when you view the blank product, just go the (DESIGN YOUR OWN T-SHIRT) page and click on the product, that way you will never be confused. You can measure using the sizng chart image which is in centimetres. For width, just measure armpit to armpit and match the corresponding measurement to the chart. Please note, we do not accept returns for incorrect ordering of products.

Is there a difference bwteen kids, womens and mens apparel?

 Yes. When you click on a blank product in the (DESIGN YOUR OWN T-SHIRT) page, you will see a photo of a model wearing the product in most cases, and that will give you an indication of how it looks and the fit.

Can I print anywhere on the product?

When you select a product to design, the online design tool shows you where you can place your design. It has a bounding box that looks like marching ants. Always stay within that box, that way we get to receive your design. As previously mentioned, sizing can vary, so we discuss this with you if required.

Before Ordering

Can I use my own clothing and garmets?

Yes, we allow garments to be supplied, but only if they are new, unwashed and have not been contaminated in any way. If we do approve printing on your supplied garments, please note, we do not offer any guarantee and no refunds if the printing process fails. We can only provide guarantee if we supply the apparel.

Is there a minimum or maximum order?

No, we specialise in being able to print a single t-shirt, or hoodies or cap for a client all the way up to hundreds. Modern technology has come a long way, and as long as you/us can finalise the design and craete a print file - we can print your design.

Can I contact you if I need to ask questions?

Yes, absolutely. We are always here to answer any question you have about the design and printing process, including costs, time frames and what will best serve your needs.

Can you supply mock up images to see what it looks like?

Yes. Once we have a design, its easy to add onto a professional model mock up so you can see what the design will actually loook like. We find this to be a big help to our clients.

Can we come in to the print store and see you in person?

Yes, we have a studio shop front where the public can come and view designs, apparel, sizing and past projects we have completed.

How much do custom printed t-shirts cost?

A basic custom t-shirt print can start as low as $21.95 + gst to $48 + gst. The designs we are given can rage from basix words to very complex designs, so it hard to give an accurate price until we see the design. If you order online, the templates are set to give you a standard price. It also gives you discounts starting at 5% off all the way to 31% off based on bulk orders and qty's.
